My Spring Style Wishlist #2

Spring Style Wishlist 2

Spring Style Wishlist 2 by thedivaplan featuring Essie

Here I go again you say?  Well I say let's step into this new season shining.  Although, I will admit that I'm subjecting you all to these posts because I'm trying to get myself ready--excuse the selfishness.  On the bright side, I'm always about presenting looks and deals so all my 40+ divas can have banging wardrobes and wallets.  So here I present my second most sought after ensemble for spring and this is a look I can actually carry into summer and it can be remixed several different ways.

Down below you will see where I plan on getting the pieces necessary to pull this look together and which items I already own.  A word of encouragement though before you start scrolling.  Trust me on this one. If you take time to think about your personal style preferences and the image you want to show to the world, you will get to the point where you will only have to buy pieces you need instead of shopping at random. I'm in rehab so I can attest to it:)

All of the accessories pictured here are mine and would go perfectly with the outfit idea, which means more money in my pocket and a pat on my back for reusing instead of spending more money.  Besides that, 5 out of 6 of these items I've never used.  I need to get out more!

Pewter caged clutch:  Gifted to me for my birthday by my cousin.
Blue beaded & gold and blue beaded necklaces:  Charming Charlies
Black wedge:  JustFab (Makayla)
Black statement ring:  Traci Lynn Jewelry
Gold bracelet watch:  Guess
White enamel ring with a watch under the dome:  HSN years ago

Although I like the striped pants in the feature photo above, I actually prefer these much more for several reasons.  First, the white on blue looks a lot classier; the wide leg is more on trend and the belt detail gives it just enough pizzazz so it deviates from being the typical striped pant.  With that being said, these slacks are a win, win, win from Simply Be for $36.49.
Here's funky shoe option by JustFab (Bekka) for $39.95.  It would definitely give the outfit a more bohemian look while still allowing you to show off the flow of the slacks and the shoe at the same time.

My penchant for long tunics is not very high, but when I saw this one on Simply Be for $57.50 I instantly loved it!  This tunic is very versatile and the modern lines make it a win for today's busy woman who wants push her style button.

I know this tomato colored longline jacket is a digression from the intended ensemble, but I couldn't help realize how absolutely fabulous it would look with the wide leg striped pants.  I've been eyeing this piece for a while and it's currently discounted from $99.95 to $67.50 on Simply Be once again.  Simply Be is a great online shopping option for sizes 8 to 28.  Their pieces speak to real women, but have just enough edge to keep you on trend and stylish.
